It's funny what catches your eye once you start having an interest in photography. I have driven past this church many times while travelling between Mackay and Bundaberg, and it wasn't until my passion for being behind a camera started that I actually noticed this magnificent buuilding.
As I walked up to the doors, I was greeted by a priest. We talked about the building and it's history for quite some time and was more than happy to allow me to take some photos.
I used a method called HDR to show detail in not only the very bright areas, but also the very dark areas. I was very happy with the results, and I hope you like them too!
