If you have ever visited Hervey Bay, Queensland, then there is no doubt you would have had to check out the Urangan Pier. 868 meters of beauty. This pier was built between 1913 and 1917 for ships to receive cargo, but these days it's a popular attraction to locals and tourists.
It's a great spot to have a stroll and try to spot some dolphins having a play, or if you're keen, throw in a line and see what's biting. If you're like me, it's a photographer's dream. Lots of uniqueness and character with a lovely history. I was lucky enough to capture this photo and others before some reconstruction work was done on the pilings.
